Check it out. In the right place at the right time! I bought this today at Trains & Lanes for $350. G62 and servos just add a new gas tank battery and receiver. Go flying.

I need to install a new gas tank in it. I'm not sure how to connect the fuel lines. one to the carb and the other goes where? Help. I'm sure it's simple but I want to be sure.

You need a vent line. Have a loop on top of the tank and then out the bottom of the cowl. The vent doesn't connect to anything other than the tank of course.

You can have a separate fill / drain line (3 lines to tank) or a T fitting in the carb line (2 lines to tank) to a fuel dot etc.. If you search some of the forums the 3 vs. 2 line issue is probably split 50/50 with good arguments for each. I used the 3 line setup in the Laser but think I'll just do the 2 line next time, easier setup and defuel through the clunk. I have to raise the tail up to defuel.

Hello from Vermont!!

Looks sweet Will!!
Im a 3 line guy myself..I run a fuel dot to fill, one to the carb and a vent line/overflow. Run 2 tubes in the tank, both with clunks, and of course the vent/overflow line goes to the top of the tank. That way you wont have to lift the tail of the plane to empty the tank. For the vent like Larry says, run a loop of fuel line from the vent through the bottom of the cowl.

Dont cap it off after you fill and fuel comes out, leave it open,of course so it can vent. I cap it off after Im done for the day. It keeps the gas smell out of your car.

Ill be there Sunday if your gonna fly it,or if your not..Ill be home Saturday night..

We just Mtn.Biked Mt Killington today..The kids both have some nice battle scars.Im very proud of the wife. She took all the single track like a pro..Rode the hole thing, well a little bit of walking. She wanted to do it again, but the kids had enough. I broke away a few times to check out my Full suspension ride.. Its a whole new ball game on full suspension..

Cya,

Hey Will,
Looked great in the air today!! I was suprised to see it was a fiberglass fuse and how well it was built..

On another note. I got another BOOMEr of a Thermal today.had a good 15 minute flight. We were watching a Bald Eagle thermalling and I decided to go for it.He was gone by the time I got up. But still got hit hard by a Thermal.. Another spec in the sky flight!! WOOHOO!!!

Cant wait for Pete's...

Yea the plane felt good up there. I did have the clunk fall off in the tank on the second flight and broke a gear in one elevator servo. :o other than that all landings were on the field ! :P I fixed the tank and moved the battery in front of the tank to get that nose down a little more. I'm replacing the elevator servos with metal gears.Try it again next weekend.
The cub is real. Flew right over our field.

Was it flying like that all the time or just at low power? It could also be a incedence or a motor thrust adjustment..

Try it again with the battery up front more and see if that helps before we try anything else..
