Been slow in here!

WOW! Things have been slow on this forum lately.
Last Sunday,a few of us got out to do some flying. I got to maiden our Hanger 9 Cessna Skylane. Flew beautifully, the 26cc gasser with the Master Airscrew 16x8 3 blade, more then enough power. My second landing was using the flaps, had to have a few deg. of down Elevator to compensate for the flaps.

Mike Visco, had his Yak back together and he's flying better then ever. It was just to damn cold for Dad to fly.. It felt great to get out and burn some gas!!

Cya,
Frank

Yes it been real slow...
Good to hear some flying is taking place. How was the field condition?
Maybe a mix on the flap switch to put in some elevator would be good?

The field was soggy but you could still walk on it ok. It can really use the roller, but not until,March I believe we usually do it.

Yup I mixed a few deg. of down on the flap switch. I actually have two settings of flaps on a 3 position switch, 35deg. and 45deg. And I have them adjusted to come down nice and slow, with the elev. mix I need, using the Servo speed function on my JR 9303.It's a neat function to have..
