I like this better. I hope we can get as many club members to join in as possible. This would make club communication much better.

As far as the members go.. Im pretty sure this might be it.. Maybe Lafe when he has the time from school.. I thinks it's great he's coming back for another summer... No one want to be heard I guess?

I don't know about videos. You can certainly post a link to a video. Most ISP's give you some web space, you could put it there and post a link.

Advertisements; yes they are paying the freight... For a fee we can have the forum without the ad's. I'll look into what the cost is. If a greater percentage of the membership makes use of this maybe the club would fund the ad removal fee?

We can always leave the Yahoo up just for the photo album etc. I can put a note there with a link to this forum.

PHPBB is a great free forum app. If whomever runs the boards has any questions on how the forum works or the like I am well versed in these boards. I've run a bunch myself and modified them silly.

Nope, not in the club (yet anyways) just stopped by the field this past weekend when I saw more than the usual amount of planes flying around and saw some big ones too. Stopped in, talked to Frank and checked it out. Just getting into the hobby as far as planes go. Trying to learn to fly a plane and a heli at the same time. Names Chris btw.
