WRAM Show..

Postby xtraflyr on Tue Feb 17, 2009 10:05 pm

Hey guys it's WRAM show time. If you've never been there its pretty fun. If not, there's alot of vendors for anything RC,cars, boats, planes. They have an indoor rc car track, last year they flew some foamy planes also.. They usually have pretty good deals on servo, motors, planes, cars, boats ect.
There's a swap shop, and a model display area where you'll see some of the best looking planes,Warbirds, aerobatic and general Aviation.

It looks like Dad,Pete,Bill Voag, and Wally are goin on Friday.
So far for Saturday we have Dad,Mike Visco,Will C.(Maybe), and myself. If Will doesn't go we'll have room for another. We usually meet in the Village Green Shopping Center,Dunkin Donuts to be more specific around 830,the show opens at 10am.

For more info. www.wram.org
Maybe we'll cya there..

Well,it was really small this year..Only one floor of vendors, the downstairs level had the static displayand a half ass rock crawling area that a local hobby store had there. You can only crawl on it if you bought one of the RTR trucks they were selling..

According to a source they may not have it next year, cuz they lost their shirt this year.. I didn't spend to much money this year though,so that was kinda good, but now I'll just have to spend it online..

Sorry to hear it wasn't better.
The crawl deal seems short sighted on the hobby shops part. They would have been better off letting people try it and get them hooked! Then maybe they would buy.
